This air-fried Buffalo cauliflower is a lighter tackle these wings which might be virtually a staple in upstate New York. A lightweight coating of bread crumbs ensures they’re good and crispy, and including the sauce earlier than they’re cooked makes them much less messy to eat. When you like saucier “wings,” toss them in one other ¼ cup of sauce once they come out of the fryer. Serves 6
1½ cups cauliflower florets
¼ cup wing sauce
¼ cup plain bread crumbs
1.In a big bowl, mix the cauliflower and wing sauce. Stir to coat.
2.Sprinkle with the bread crumbs and gently stir to mix. Prepare the cauliflower in a single layer in your air fryer’s basket. Fry at 320°F for 20 minutes. Serve sizzling.
Substitution tip: Wing sauce is a mixture of sizzling sauce and butter, so it’s not as spicy as pure sizzling sauce. You can also make your personal at residence by mixing ⅔ cup of sizzling sauce with ¼ cup of melted butter. Cowl and refrigerate any leftovers for about 2 weeks.
